Prepare a FMECA analysis on a HDS reactor. All the information about the reactor are attaches including the format required for the FMECA.
Subsystem A (chemical reaction) Function: Formulated inside the reactor to produce the desired product.
Component A-1 (Catalyst) Function: Selective chemical used to accelerate the chemical reaction inside the reactor(HR-538 mix of nickel and molybdenum catalyst and HR-626 which consists of a mix of cobalt and molybdenum sulfides on an alumina support of large surface area)
Component A-2 (Reactants) Function: Enter to the reactor (light gas oil/kerosene)to start the chemical reaction under certain conditions
Component A-3 (Products) Function: Outputs from the chemical reaction (low sulfur gas oil/kerosene and the removed organic sulfur)
Component A-4 (Reaction Conditions) function: Driven parameters to carry out the required chemical reaction.
Part A-4 a (Reaction Temperature) function: any deviation from the reaction temperature can change the nature of the chemical reaction.
Part A-4 b (Reaction Pressure):any deviation from the reaction pressure can change the nature of the chemical reaction.
Part A-4 c (Other specified conditions) function: Required to be in place to run out the chemical reaction.
