Preparation for brainstorming session

Assignment:

Collecting Primary Information: Research Interviewing In your follow-up meeting with Casandra M. from Activity, she asks you to complete one more task in preparation for the brainstorming session. She needs further insight in defining the problem and creating an agenda for the outline of topics to be covered in the brainstorming session. She asks you to conduct informal interviews of Gap and Old Navy shoppers.

Form five-member class groups. Two members of each group, if possible, should be familiar with Gap and Old Navy. Decide who will role-play the interviewer and the two interviewees (those most familiar with Gap and Old Navy), and who will act as recorder and group spokesperson. If your group has fewer than five members, some will have to fill more than one role. The interviewer asks both interviewees the same three questions outlined below. The recorder takes notes, and the group spokesperson summarizes the group’s research results during the class discussion. Use the following interview questions:
a. During your last two visits to Gap or Old Navy, were there any products you expected the two stores to carry but couldn’t find?
b. Can you think of any seasonal products you would like Gap or Old Navy to carry? Specifically, identify products for winter, spring, summer, and fall.
c. If you were in charge of Gap or Old Navy’s product lines, what three changes would you make to the existing product lines? What three totally new product lines would you want to create? As a team or individually, prepare an outline that summarizes the information gathered from the in-class interviews.

Your answer must be, typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman font (size 12), one-inch margins on all sides, APA format and also include references.
