When delivering to a large construction site, he witnessed the collapse and subsequent fire in a building in which several people were working. He witnessed the incident from the site office and was not close enough to be in any physical danger but saw some horrific sights as people fell from the top of the building and were burned in the fire. Pollard has been off work sick since the incident and is making a claim for psychiatric harm against the construction company.
