Precautions to prevent from HIV
To avoid HIV infection one should practice safe sex (use of condoms). Besides a few simple precautions are given for protection against HIV infection.
1) Giving adequate medical treatment to the infected pregnant mother can protect the child from contracting HIV.
2) Ensuring that the blood used for tras fusion is HIV free.
3) It cannot be transmitted by using disposable syringes or sterilized needles.
4) Seeking immediate treatment for STD along with sexual partner.
