Global governance is the way international affairs are managed across nations. The way these affairs are managed is by agreements, institutions, and practices with the goal of addressing global issues. There are quite a few systems of global governance. These systems are; Regional Organizations, International Monetary Fund, United Nations, and World Trade Organization. One challenge posed by globalization to the current systems is social media. Social media can be viewed as a positive thing because it allows the spread of information, which in return can be negative. It can be negative because it allows for misinformation to spread, and spread quickly. Global governance could potentially become democratic governance, but it would take a lot to make that happen. It would pretty much involve needing to start over. Recreate itself. It would also take the people to make it happen.
