In responding to this questions students need to keep in mind that these are "mini essays" more than "discussions". Compare and contrast the practice of slavery in the northern and southern colonies. Investigate the primary ways in which slavery became a race based system and the fundamental reasons the practice ended in the North. Provide support for your response.
