Problem:
For those in the United States, we have Super Bowl this weekend. Not only is the Super Bowl about American Football, but almost as important it is the Super Bowl of Advertising. A thirty-second spot for this year was $6.5 million dollars. Last year the same spot was, on average, $5.5 million. Within this past year's FIFA World Cup, companies spent on average $150mil a piece. Understand that the World Cup was over numerous weeks and had more ad opportunities that went beyond 30-second spots, i.e. sponsorships, ?eld-level placements, etc. For those of you in the US post your favorite Super Bowl ad and why.
