The given are the results of the sieve analysis:

U.S. sieve no. : 4, 10, 20, 40, 60, 100, 200, PAN

Mass of a oil retained (g): 0, 41.2, 55.1, 80.0, 91.6, 60.5, 35.6, 21.5

i) Find percent finer than each sieve and plot the grain-size distribution curve.

ii) By looking at grain-size distribution curve, do you believe soil is well-graded or not?

iii) Find D₁₀ , D₃₀ , and D₆₀ from grain-size distribution curve.

iv) Compute C_c and C_u.

v) Compute percentages (by mass) of sand and fines.
