Your response for each of the questions should be no more than 110 words or no less than 100 words.
The total number of words for Part A, Research and Report, covering the five questions are estimated at 500 words in total.
In terms of your answers, you may use a bullet point approach or an essay type method.

Question 1.
Investigate the Environmental and Heritage webpage in your respective State/Territory. Alternatively, you may research NSW Government, Environmental and Heritage website. https://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/sustainability/ accessed on 28/01/2014.
Define the term sustainability and discuss the different aspects and the sorts of actions that can be implemented to promote sustainable developments.
Question 2.
Investigate the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA)'s sustainability strategy. Your reference is www.cba.com.au and type in the word "sustainability" into the search tool box on the main menu bar on the top of the screen.
Once you have read and you are familiar with the organisational strategy, respond to the following.
Identify the CBA's sustainability strategy and the five (05) key areas of focus of the Bank's sustainability framework. (100 words).
Question 3.
a. Research and obtain a comprehensive understanding of the CBA Sustainability Reporting 2013 focus areas through the CBA website. Conduct further research into the topic, Environmental Stewardship and identify a key goal and/or an achievement which the financial institution has implemented and/or exceeded whilst implementing challenging carbon reduction targets. b. Identify the (03) energy efficient projects that the Commonwealth Bank (CBA) has initiated in their offices and branch network.
Question 4.
Identify five (05) Carbon Reduction Targets (Quantitative) which CBA has initiated and achieved/exceeded as part of their Environmental Stewardship, Sustainability Reporting in 2013. (100 Words).
Question 5.
a. Briefly explain why Triple Bottom Line (TBL) reporting is an important indictor in Australia as defined by the Department of Environment and Heritage (link provided in question one). (100 Words).
b. Identify five (05) key environmental issues that could be considered when formalising Environmental Performance Indicators which could assist an organisation to calculate and report on the impacts its operations could have on the environment which can include, flora, fauna, land, air and water.
