Last week, my friends and I joined car-pool with our bikes going to Memorial Park. Memorial Park is one of the largest municipal entertaining parks in Houston. "A favorite among Houston's joggers, Memorial Park also features tennis courts, playing fields, a fitness center, swimming pool and six miles of mountain and recreational bike trails along the bayous"(houstontx). A large and beautiful place is loaded with lots of smooth fun single-track that is sight jump into my eyes. Basketball and football pitches and a long winding jogging path are surrounded with hills and trees. It is also a prime choice for people who are wild about sports. The most attractive thing is the bike trails here. In my view, it is a great place to run, hike and bike. I went to a bike shop which is located on the Shepherd Street. There are many different types bicycles with different functions. Finally I bought a mountain bike after consulting with an experienced salesperson. The sunshine is warm; the wind is kissing our faces gently that is the most wonderful thing everyone can enjoy at this park. That is what I felt when I used 5th gear trying to reach the top of a hill. Bringing your family or friends go on a picnic, race with your friends and play different types sports that all can give people gain a lot of fun here. The bike trail is paved about figure -eight loop. There are so many people riding with us. Some of them are racing as couples of groups. People are friendly on the trail. We are smiling and waving hands to each other when we were riding bikes on the trail.
