Question1. ‘The area of E-Government enfolds three chief domains. These domains address the problems that Government is too inefficient and ineffective; too self-serving and inconvenient and too insular’. Using suitable examples discuss each of these domains.

Question2. Prior to devising a Website it is critical that an organisation performs an analysis of the information needs of the users of its website. Use a public sector organisation of your choice as an example and discover the major purposes of its e-Government Website.

Question3. Planning and management of ICT projects have a very poor record in developing countries.  In brief describe the different success (enablers and drivers) and failure (barriers and inhibitors) categories.

Question4. “Public Sector data is seen as owned by everyone since it has been collected about and from everyone, often compulsorily”. Describe the concepts of ‘Public data’ when viewed as (a) a Public Asset, (b) a Private Asset and (c) not an Asset.

Discuss these various views using suitable examples.

Question5. If citizens have been capable to overcome the difficulties of having access to government data they should have the resources necessary to access the data. Identify and discuss the significance of those resources.
