Pipe discharge flow

As shown in the sketch, kerosene at 90°F is being drained through 100 feet of 4 inch schedule 80 pipe from a storage tank at 10 psig to a settling tank as shown. The pipe discharge is 20 feet below the level of the storage tank. The pipe contains a swing check valve, a gate valve, two long radius elbows and a strainer with a loss coefficient, k, of 2.5. The entrance is inward projecting. What flow (gpm) can be expected if the gate valve is one-half open?

Kerosene @ 90 °F4-in Suction Pipe                                                      Length = 100m
Sg = 0.823D = 0.3188 ft or 97.2 mmP1 = 10 psig
Υ = 51.20 lb/ft3A =  0.07986 ft2 or 7.419 X 10-3m3Z1 =17 ft
Ρ = 1.60 slugs/ft3Z2 = 3 ft
η = 3.43 X 10-5
v = 2.14 X 10-5
Entrance is inward, K = 10
Swing Check Valve, Le/D = 100
Gate Valve,  Le/D = 160
Strainer, K = 2.5
2 Long Radius Elbows, Le/D = 20
