Phosphorylation of fructose-6-phosphate
Phosphorylation of fructose-6-phosphate: This is an irreversible reaction, catalyzed byphosphofructo72Snase, (PFK- I) a rate-limiting enzyme of glycolysis in most tissues and is the most important regulatory enzymes of glycolysis. PFK-1 is activated by high concentrations of AMP and fructne-2,6-bisphosphate.
