Question 5: India white company ltd. Is a company which produces electric bulbs, water coolers, air coolers, electric motors and so on. Recently it added a new line of product, namely refrigerators for both commercial and industrial use. It required one electrical engineer with B.Tech qualification to look after the new plant producing refrigerators. Currently where are five engineers who are in Asst. Engineer post qualified for the port of engineer. Yet the management went and placed an advertisement in newspaper for the post and received 12 letters/replies to the advertisement Out of them 12, five of them are from the organization itself. Mr. Y.K. Shetty who was fourth in the seniority list was chosen and issued the appointment letter. There was a issue raised by the other four members as to why he was chosen and not one of them.
