Instruction: Read the following case study and answer the questions below

Jane, a new woman manager has joined XYZ Company. Jill, employee was only working four (4) days a week, taking the fifth day off to follow her vocation – being a docent at museum. When Jane told Jill that she really required her to be there every day, Jill told her that the former boss, Jack - now Jane boss - had given her permission which clearly trumped Jane objection. The latter confirmed with Jack that this was the case.

Jane travels a great deal and require to dependent on Jill to keep things running while she was away. Even though Jane clearly conveyed Jill priorities to her, she worked on whatever she wanted to when she wanted.

Jane was new to the company and she was a tenured employee. She was the only person trained to manage the company complex database. The only other person in the company who could pull data from it was on the CEO’s staff and traveled frequently.

Jill reports were late to Jane so the latter’s reports were late to everyone else. The CEO would come to Jane office every morning asking for latest numbers, which were barometer of progress in new venture.

Each time Jill spent hour talking to Jane boss behind closed doors in his office.
