Nursing Management
Monitor-blood pressure, Pulse temperature, respiration, chills disphoresis, jugular pressure.
Assess for signs of cardiac tarnponade. Place patient in cardiac position (leaning forward on the table) Monitor intake and output Maintain adequate fluid intake Nutrition-light meals. Reassure the patient and family. Prepare and assist for pericardiocentesis in case of large effusion of pericardial fluid or blood (priority treatment).
