Recommendations for the written work
The following recommendations will facilitate the work to be completed by the student:
Each group of students must search for the relevant information that is needed for performing an analysis of the industry and the selected company. For this, they may refer to the websites of industry companies, corporate associations, the national stock market commission, and data from the Banco de España, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, etc. They may also access the library database of the Universidad Europea de Madrid.
When selecting the company, the decision must be made taking into consideration the drawbacks and advantages of choosing an individual company or a group of companies. When selecting the consolidated accounts, students must search for a large amount of internal information in order to complete this work, as well as analyze many financial publications such as the status of good governance and information prepared in accordance with the IFRS.
The work aims to transform the information that can be obtained about the industry (in the Internet or through other means) into knowledge: validating it, creating hierarchies and structuring it in accordance with the formal guidelines that have been learned throughout the course.

The final report must have a maximum of 50 pages, including the appendices, and it must be properly written and with a formal presentation.
