Yellow - Diagnosis Green- Procedure An otherwise healthy 18-year-old male arrived in the emergency department complaining of pain in the left hand. He stated that he was jacking up a car to fix a flat tire when the jack handle struck his hand. Radiologic exam revealed a fractured left wrist, which required closed surgical repair under general anesthesia. The CRNA administered the anesthesia under medical direction by a physician.
