ORGANIZATION OF THE REPORT
Once you have selected a research problem, design the study to conduct it, deciding on the variables, methodology and the study population, you actually conduct the study. As you conduct the study, you obtain data. The data are then analysed and interpreted. Now you are ready to write the report on your research study. What is the procedure now? How do you do it? The procedure consists of outlining the contents and organizing the same. You have also to decide on how much to be elaborated. How much a report has to be elaborated will however, depend on the purpose of writing the report.
Outline of the contents of a research report broadly covers:
i) An Introduction,
ii) Literature study,
iii) Methodology,
iv) Data Analysis and Interpretation, and
v) Summary.
