1.Thank you for your post. By virtue of the definition of vulnerability, someone or something is weakened. To use a personal example, I believe that our location has an impact on my son's asthma. The pollution and smog causes his asthma to flare, which weakens his immune system so he is susceptible to getting sick certain times of the year.
Can you share examples from your perspectives?
2. Disparities have a significant impact on a person's vulnerability to illness or experiencing poor health. So by virtue an individual will have outcomes based predisposing, enabling, and need characteristics. One would have to think that with this statistically proven information, organizations can be more proactive about prevention or how to help the disparate population.
