Final Activity "Diversity, Health & Wellness in Your Community" Report:
One way to get a sense of diversity, health and wellness in a community is to drive or walk around it, observing and taking note of its character. In this activity, you are a person who is trying to learn more about the diversity, health and wellness in your community. You will follow the instructions noted in the guide for this activity, take notes on all the points discussed in the guide and submit a final report of your assessment of your community. Your report should be AT LEAST 5 pages but NO MORE than 10 single-spaced pages. Your report MUST address all of the questions laid out in the guide, specifically,
(1) How do you define "community?";
(2) What are your community's outstanding assets?;
(3) What seem to be your community's biggest challenges?;
(4) What is the most striking thing about your community?;
(5) What is the most unexpected?;
(6) Are you struck by the aesthetic quality of your community, either positively or negatively-i.e., is it particularly beautiful or particularly ugly?;
(7) How do you define "health?";
(8) Going by your previous definition of health, is your community a healthy community?;
(9) How do you define "diversity?";
(10) Going by your previous definition of diversity, is your community a diverse community? Is it an inclusive community?;
(11) What are your recommendations/suggestions (both positive and negative) to improve or maintain the health and diversity of your community?
