One of the more important jobs for a researcher is be able to read and interpret the findings of other researchers. Sometimes research designs are simple and easy to understand, but other times they are quite complex. In this activity, you search journals to find papers that describe multi-group or factorial designs and interpret the results find two papers that have used a multi-group or factorial design. Using search terms such as "factorial", "ANOVA", and "multi-group" will help you. When you have found two papers, read them and focus on the results section. Record the hypothesis and briefly describe the research design. Finally, report what the researchers found. Was there an overall trend in the data? Did the researchers find differences between all of the experimental groups?
