One article that we have read and compare it to another article and the comparison that you provide should begin by briefly summarizing each article in terms of its main argument (this should take 1 or 2 sentences for each article). Then, you will point to a theme, theory, or idea that you find within both of the articles and compare it. (This should take the form of a explanatory sentence or thesis statement that demonstrates to the reader what your paper is about). Throughout your paper: Think of how the authors approach a certain idea - do they argue it similarly? Differently? Does one article help you to understand the other one more clearly? Why? Make sure that you explain why your chosen theme, theory or idea is significant/important/interesting, etc.
Description - You need to provide the context of the articles so that your reader knows what your paper is discussing. Being concise here is important. Depth - You need to provide an advanced understanding of the issues that you are discussing. Clarity - You need to clearly articulate what your paper will focus on, your own thoughts, and the significance of your ideas as they compare to the 2 articles that you have chosen.
Creativity - It is crucial that you demonstrate that you have taken some time in trying to create a paper that is unique and interesting.
Editing and Referencing - You need to make it clear, through your writing, that you have taken the time to edit, understand the expectations of the assignment, and properly reference using APA or MLA throughout your paper.
