One area of leadership that you discuss in your analysis is that of open communication. Elaborate on and share my own thoughts on as well. Open communication is one of the largest pain points in organizations and the reasons for this are varied, do believe that much of the dysfunction in communication is structural in nature. When you work with managers to assess the health of process adoption or develop best practices in an organization, one of the most common pain points that invariably comes up among the workers is that of poor communication. They typically mention that they rarely get clear communication from management around how to do processes correctly and why they are doing processes a certain way. This lack of communication creates obstacles to efficiencies and also fosters an environment of isolations where workers feel demotivated and separated from the decision making in the organization.
