The bad and most debilitating experience related to work which a worker can have is a work-related accident or illness.  Governments have taken action in promulgating regulations to make sure occupational safety and as well making rules for compensation to victim worker. The occupational diseases and accidents have long history. It is recognized that workers who were engaged in construction of pyramids in Egypt attracted medical care arranged through the king. In the middle of sixteenth century miner's diseases were identified and safety related to mining of metals and ores was given due consideration. The result was that enough ventilation in workplaces and in mines was arranged. Several devices for providing fresh air in mines were developed.
