Question: Conduct an informal interview (more like a conversation, really) with someone who is at least 65 years old. Interview a relative, neighbor, member of your house of worship, friend, coworker, etc. You may also call a nursing home to arrange to interview a resident.
Your task is to obtain information about various stages in their lifetime.
- Ask them to talk about 5 milestones in their life and at what age they occurred.
- Discuss the capacities, limitations, and resiliency that these events created in their lives.
- At the end of the interview, ask them what words of wisdom they have for you to age well.
