Nurse noticed residents oxygen saturation started to drop

Problem: Around midnight, the nurse noticed that the resident's oxygen saturation started to drop, and it took an unusually long time to get a reliable reading from the finger monitor. The nurse initiated IV treatment and took the resident's vital signs. At that time, the resident refused to have their blood pressure taken and declined to take oral medications, managing only 1/4 of the prescribed dose. The resident was also not responding verbally. The CNA performed well by conducting checks and repositioning the resident. By approximately 2 AM, the blood pressure readings were still denied, the heart rate was elevated at 156 beats per minute, and the temperature was recorded at 97.3°F. In response, the nurse contacted Kelse and Dr. Taeger Ursee, who provided orders to apply oxygen to the resident. Need Assignment Help?
