Following administration of edrophonium the client reports a temporary increase in muscle strength, and less shortness of breath Actions to Take Prepare physostigmine salicylate for administration. Urine output Cholinergic crisis. Dysphagia Potential Condition Parameters to Monitor Anticholinergic toxicity. Pulmonary secretions Myasthenic crisis. Mydriasis. Encourage the client to use Acute viral infection .Hyperthermia. an incentive spirometer hourly . Request prescription to increase acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. Place suctioning and emergency alay equipment at bedside. Administer atropine IV.
