Load the circuit file for Section 6-3. On a piece of paper, make up a chart for the even parity bit that would be generated for the binary count from 0000 to 1111 (0 to 15). Check all 16 of your answers by pressing "step" on the Word Generator repeatedly as you compare your parity bit with the Even Parity Light. Note: The number 1 is an odd number, and the number 2 is even. Why do they both generate an even parity bit?
