Networks communicate through messages using well-defined protocols. Part of a good Network Management Guide is documentation of the protocols in use. This project will entail documentation of the network protocols in the scenario organization, and it will also include a discussion of the security issues related to these protocols and how to address them.
For this assignment, you will modify the Network Management Guide document to document the protocols in use and the security issues related to these protocols.
The following are the project deliverables:
•Update the Network Management Guide document title page with a new date and document name.
•Update the previously completed sections based on your instructor's feedback.
•Week 4: Network Protocols and Agents ?Identify the communication protocols used in the scenario organization.
?For each protocol, provide a brief description of how the protocol functions, identify the parts of the network where the protocol is used, and provide an example of this.
?Identify the network management agents used to communicate with the managed devices and the information they provide for monitoring and configuring the network.
?Discuss the security concerns with the protocols used in your target organizations and means of minimizing them.
