Can we say that nations wanting to adopt the Sharia or engaging in certain practices against their own population (and sometimes, though not often, these are popularly elected governments doing so) are acting _against_ the best interests of America or our idea of human rights? Can a case be made for a "idealism" requiring that the US intervene militarily?
