Multi-generational workforce


Assignment:

The 21st Century U.S. Workforce is changing.  We now have four generations in the workforce but in the next few years there will be five generations working side-by-side.   The five generations are:

The Traditionalist/Silent Generation/Veterans (born 1925 through 1942)
The Baby Boomers (born between 1943 through 1964 +/-)
Generation X (born 1965 through 1979 +/-) and
Generation Y now known as Millennial (born 1980 to 2000 +/-)
Generation Z or the IGen (born 2001 +/- to 2013+)  (soon to be entering the workforce)

  • Provide insight into our multi-generational workforce.  How has it affected you or someone you know in the workplace?
