Three different techniques for assembling product were proposed by industrial engineer. To investigate the number of units assembled correctly with each technique, 30 employees were randomly chosen and randomly assigned to three proposed techniques in such a manner that each method was employed by ten workers. The number of units assembled correctly was recorded, and the analysis of variance process was applied to the resulting data set. The following results were obtained: SST = 10,870; SSTR = 4,580.
Using a=.05 to test for any significant difference in means for three assembly methods.
