Part one:
SWOT writing: Thinking about your strengths and weaknesses with the objective of developing a written plan that you will use to hold yourself accountable. As we learned from our guest speaker, to be a successful sales person/sales manager, a written development plan (that is initiated by the employee) is a key resource to do so. Prepare a 4 quadrant grid of your; Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats.
Part two:
Once you have identified a few (2 or 3) for each of the above, prepare a plan of how you are going to address your Weaknesses and Opportunities using the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Agreed Upon, Realistic & Time Based). The format of this should be in a table.
