Be sure to choose someone for whom there is much information available. What personal characteristics contributed to their success and failures? What did they contribute to changing the face of marketing for the 21st century? What other industries changed as a result? If you were to advise them, what would you suggest is most important for them to consider in the coming years? Be sure to be balanced in your approach, not just "buying" the press' hero-worshiping or vilifying.

Sources should be academic in nature but may include reputable business and/or news sources such as business journals, magazines, or newspapers.
