Many of you have HEALTH BENEFITS through the TRICARE system, others have insurance through your employer or the employer of your significant other, while a few do not have insurance at all. As you complete the readings for this week think about the type of organization from which you receive your primary health care. Do you believe that they would be classified as an integrative model, meaning that there is coordination throughout the system, to include payors and providers? In other words, do you believe that the care you receive is coordinated overall or is it still fragmented? Do you receive your care in a for-profit or non-profit facility?
