- How has WWI affected society?
- What is "progress"? Does it really exist?
- Why is nonlinear and experimental narrative attractive to modern authors? How do form and content complement each other?
- Is life absurd? Is it meaningless? How does Modern Lit explore these questions?
- How do these texts treat conformity?
