Manual assignment of departmental resources is tedious. The administrator has to collect course and workload preferences from faculty members and TAs manually and input them into the computer by hand. The goal of this project is to develop a tool that will automate this departmental resource assignment process. The tool, referred by DRAT, shall provide a web-based interface that will gather preferences from the faculty members and TAs. At any time the administrator shall be allowed to generate a list of course assignments to each responsibility. The administrator shall also have the option of manually adjusting assignments and the DRAT shall work dynamically around these presets. The administrator shall also have the option to add, remove and modify courses and users. All data can be archived by the administrator, and the generated list of resource assignments will also be saved in a database for easy future retrieval.
