Management is the planning, organizing, leading, and controlling of human and other resources to achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently. Additionally, management is a process that involves assembling and using resources, acting in a goal-directed manner to accomplish tasks, and carrying out activities within an organizational setting. This activity is designed to help you understand the importance of all four management functions. Looking back to our reading, the presentation, and the module notes, you should readily see the importance of these functions; this exercise will further show the relevance of each function.
