Under conditions such that delta Gprime and delta Gzeroprime are equal to each other, would the transfer of a phosphate group from 1,3-biphosphoglycerate to ATP be able to drive the synthesis of glycerol phosphate to from free glycerol and inorganic phosphate, assuming the existance of an appropriate coupling mechanism? Making the same assumptions, would phosphate transfer from BPG to ADP be able to drive synthesis of glucose-1-phosphate from free glucose and inorganic phosphate?
