Provide a proforma income statement for 2003 based on your recommendations and include a footnote with a brief explanation of how you developed your sales forecast. Note that marketing fixed expenses are NOT budgeted on the basis of percent of sales; they are reported that way in the case as a reporting convenience only. Make sure that your proforma income statement includes line items for all marketing fixed costs and that that list corresponds, where appropriate, to your marketing strategy recommendations.
