Listening: Recognizing Good Habits You've probably never paid much attention to listening. But now that you have studied it, you have become more conscious of both good and bad listening behavior.
Task. For one week focus on the listening behavior of people around you-at work, at school, at home. Make a list of five good listening habits that you see and five bad habits. Identify the situation and participants for each item on your list.
Who is the best listener you know? What makes that person a good listener? Be prepared to discuss your responses in class, with your team, or in a memo to your instructor.
