Problem: Make a letter to a local, national, or world leader. Make a letter to an elected official or other leader and persuade them on a matter of policy. The letter can be imaginary or something you will actually send. This is an exercise in persuasive writing intended to influence the reader. Support your reasoning with concrete evidence and logic. Pick an issue you want a local, national, or world leader to address. Research who the appropriate person is that you will send the letter to and include that in your letter. (School board rep, state representatives, senators, governor, president, leader of another nation, and so on.)
