Assignment: Practice using the World Values Survey (WVS) on-line
Select one democratic country that participated in at least the last three waves including the most recent. Use figures in your answers.
1. Locate questions that measure citizens' values and norms in the most recent wave. Using the questions that you located, describe the basic pattern of citizenship that exists in your chosen country.
2. Outline Dalton's central theory from The Good Citizen focusing on values/norms. To what extent does your chosen country fit with Dalton's hypothesis? Use the most recent wave and look at cohorts not generations (Examine norms only, not participation).

For this exercise, you need to include a figure/s, correctly numbered, titled and discuss/refer to these in your text.
Check how Dalton displays tables and figures in Citizen Politics. Don't just cut and paste from the WVS website.
Create proper tables or figures in Excel. If you don't know how to use Excel, ask.
