• Locate case law or a state bar opinion on whether it is ethical in Virginia for a paralegal to explain the fee agreement to a client. Explain both sides of the potential UPL issue.
• Are paralegal fees awardable in Virginia? Cite supporting case law, and explain why paralegal fees are, or are not, awardable in certain matters.
• List three advantages to pro bono service, and write a few sentences about why pro bonoservice is, or is not, in your future.
