Marcia, a 32-year-old multigravida, has delivered three (3) children by C-section due to preeclampsia. Because of her preeclampsia, Marcia's last baby was born premature and had to spend a few days in the intensive care unit until he was able to breathe normally.
Now at home, Marcia receives a visit from her best friend Judy. During their conversation, Marcia expresses how her doctor believes that it would not be good for her health to get pregnant any time soon. She and her husband Juan agreed to not have any more children, so during her next appointment, they will discuss with their doctor that they want either a hysterectomy or a vasectomy. However, they cannot agree on the type of surgical procedure, thus, they will let the doctor decide. Judy responds, "Oh no, no. That is not a decision for your doctor to make. After all you have gone through, you should persuade your husband to have the vasectomy."

2. Do you agree with Judy that Marcia's husband should have the vasectomy instead of Marcia having the hysterectomy? Elaborate on your answer.
