ERGONOMICS AND WORKPLACE DESIGN
Work in a group of four to five.
Select an office equipped with work furniture, computers, filing cabinets, and other office accessories.
Get appropriate permission from the occupant of the room to conduct an ergonomic evaluation of the work place.
Use the basic idea of Laboratory I and the knowledge gained in the class for the evaluation.
List all the problems that you see and recommend solutions, immediate, short-term, and long-term (modifications or changes, if required) to the problem.
As far as possible, base your solutions to the root cause. Innovative ideas will get extra points.
