Leukaemia
Leukaemia is a malignant disease of blood forming organs of the body  that results  in uncontroled  growth of  immature white blood cells. The leukaemic process in the bone marrow interfers with the production of normal red cell, white cells and platelets. Leukaemia  is the commonest malignant disease of the childhood and its peak incidence is between 3 to 5 years of age and it occurs more frequently in males  than Iin females. 
Etiology 
The exact cause of leukaemia is unknown but several etiologic factors such as ( 1viruses, radiation,  chemical and drug  exposure, familial predisposition and a variety  of  Ichromosomal aberrations are associated with its cause.
