When leadership studies began to take shape, there were two major leadership styles that were the main focus: Transactional and Transformational leadership. As leadership studies began to develop, other leadership models began to be examined. To this day, Transactional and Transformational leadership remains a prominent paradigm in today's modern organizations and for good reason.
