Discussion Post: Historical Theory Application
Historical management theories. These include theories from three historical movements: Classical movement (ie: Taylor's scientific management, Weber's Bureaucracy, Fayol's administrative principles), Human relations movement (ie: McGregor's Theory X and Theory Y, Mayo's Hawthorne Studies, and Follett's Organizations as Communities), and Contemporary perspectives (systems perspective, situational perspective, contingency perspective and interactional perspectives). You should identify at least two historical theories, explain/describe the theory, cite your source, and provide discussion/application/analyisis with supporting citations. Choose any two historical theories listed above, explain the theory, and provide supporting citations to back up your claims!
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
